Garmin Edge 510 replacement Battery

I bought the exact same battery that you got off Takealot. How did you bypass of connect the speaker wire? also, did you leave the original battery connector which plugs onto the PCB in place and just soldered wires?

Hi Mr. GrindAway, i completely missed your message and only seen it today i kid you not.

Regarding your question(if it matters after all this time), i left the connectors attached and only soldered/heatshrinked the wires, unfortunately i do not remember what i did with the speaker wire but i do have sound...if you really REALLY want to know what i did with the speaker wire then let me know and i will crack open my 510 and send you a pic.
