Shimano Freehub problem

Got the FH-MT410-B  freehub on my Scott Spark 960 2022. I took off the cranks to replace the BB and also put an oval ring on. Now when I pt the wheel back on and tighten the thru axle, it seems like the chain stays are squeezed closer together and the wheel doesnt spin the tighter it gets. When the wheel is not on and the thru axle is tightened, this does not happen. Any ideas?
