Cradle Mountain bike trail woes

Has anyone tried been on the trail around the cradle loop recently. 

I tried to ride it earlier today, and it's in a sad/horrible state. Grass is completely over-grown with bottles and cans littered galore.
With such a beautiful surrounding, it's a shame cause as it stands now, I would not recommend to any one.
