Hello People

I need advice on what bike I should be looking at, I'm interested in upgrading to a dual suspension.

My budget is around the 30k mark, I'm looking for a do it all bike.

From riding trails, gravel to anything.

Some suggestions would be appreciated since I'm a bit clueless on what is good and what is bad.

With lower end components it doesnt necessarily mean they are bad (while they do not compete with higher end components) they will still do the job but some parts will end up requiring more servicing or will not last as long. Cheaper modern full suspensions will often come with low end rockshox forks and maybe a x fusion rear shock, these components will require more frequent servicing to continue to operate well. While the drivetrain may wear out quicker due to lower quality metal and manufacturing. So just keep up on basic maintenance and you should be good

Depends on your height in terms of frame size but Solomon’s has some good deals on GX and Deore-equipped Titan and Merida bikes at the moment with components from the likes of Manitou, DT Swiss, Raceface. All components that will serve you well. They don’t have all frame sizes in every model though. At a glance the models that look decent are between R30-40k.

You don’t have to limit yourself to carbon as there are modern alu bikes that are plenty light.

Depending on where you are you can see if your LBS would do a same or similar price for you which makes the maintenance etc so much easier.

Maybe look at the Titan Racing Cypher bikes, they have a 5 year multi user warranty (Just check with Titan Racing if the warranty  was registered.)
Should be able to pick up a sweet carbon one second hand for that price.

I recall seeing a few around the 35k mark with Carbon wheels as well.

How tall are you ? (Will see if there's anything in the classifieds that I would recommend)
