I have just bought my first transmission equipped bike and I’d like to switch from the included 32t chainring to a 36t. For years on previous gen eagle and eagle axs groupsets I ran csix oval chainrings with no complaints.
From a bit of reading up it seems that I should be running a 0mm offset as opposed to 3mm on previous setups. Is that correct?

I had a look at the csix website but when I filter flat top chain mtb chainrings it only brings up 3 bolt mounted rings and transmission is 8 bolt… so does csix make a compatible chainring or not?

I’m a bit confused and would appreciate the input.

I’m open to other suggestions but I do find the standard chainrings rather ugly.

Their new chainrings work with t-type yes.

Just run the same offset as the 32t?just check frame clearance

I figured but which ones specifically? points back to my confusion in my original post.

I’m waiting for the bike to ship to me still so want to get ahead as I also can’t just go to a bike shop where I am.
