Which bike

Hi All,

 

I am getting into MTB-ing quite seriously now for the first time. Got about R 10k to spend and looking for a good quality hardtail to do some multi-day events soon. First one Sabie Experience.

 

Got an option of either a Trek 6700 - 2008 model, or GT Avalanche 1.0 2009 model.

 

Being a novice, the question is..... which one?
