Poenster Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Has anybody that has one of these ever ridden in rain with it? I rode on sunday, in the fine mist rain that was falling, and this morning I see that the LCD has "run" a bit. I have blotches on my screen and parts that should be visible are gone. I'll have to take it for repairs, but surely these things should be a bit more waterproof?
Nancy Drew Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 The same thing happened to mine, the display started 'running'. If it's still under guarantee Polar will replace the LCD at not cost, but if it's more than a year old you'll have to pay for a new display. I haven't had the same problem with my CS400 and I've ridden in some serious rain with it!
