This weekend EM and I will do a 49,7 in commemaration of your 94,7.

 

As "newby" cyclists we stand amazed at our own progress. We have been religiously training for the past few weeks. Prior to this our cycling activity was down to such a level that we never thought we would get going again. That is why I say "newby" cyclists.

 

With our first attempts we were barely able to average 21km/h over short distances. This morning for the first time we broke 29km/h average for the first time over an hour cycling. We will be leaving to visit in RSA in a weeks time and we will bring our road tandem with. Cannot wait for the black bike to be roadworthy again!!!!!!!

 

All taking part in the 94,7 we will be there in spirit. All have a safe race and above all enjoy your celebration of cycling. We will with our own 49,7!!!!!!!!
