Polar RS800CX vs Garmin 405 Forerunner

Has anyone had any experience with either of these, or preferably both?

I need some assistance in helping me choose.

no experience but with the polar you get the best HR monitor available and the other goodies/functions...with the garmin you get the best GPS available together with the other goodies/functions.  There has been a similar discussion before about GARMIN vs POLAR

i disagree with the polar being the best rather look at a suunto if you going HRM and just get the forerunner if you need GPS as well
