Returning to Cape Town

Hello everyone - I live outside of Washington, DC.  I'm being laid off (made redundant) as of the end of Feb.  It's a wonderful thing because I'm returning to cape Town for 2 months for the 1st time in 23 years!!

 

I arrive 3 March and will ride in the Argus Tour.  I'm staying in Sea Point and plan to ride a lot.  I remember the rides in Stellenbosch, Paarl and Gordon's Bay like they were yesterday - GORGEOUS.

 

I'd really like to hook-up w/ some decent riders for weekday and weekend rides.  I ride about 26km/hr.  Although the Argus Tour will be brutal, it is winter here and 85km is the longest I've gone lately in the 0 C weather, I'm a distance rider.  I'll get there.  tx
