Quiz.... who can identify what this is???????

Slot looks like it could fit a spoke nipple.

Round bit looks like it might fit a cassette lock ring, but you will not have enough leverage and will need a chain whip too. Confused

You are dead right......ClapClapClapClapClapClapClap

It is a Patented Nipple Spanner combined with a compact Cassette Removal Tool. It is made bu UNIOR a tool manufacturer in Slovenia. (www.unior-bike.com) Removing a cassete wjile outside to remove a broken spoke is always a hassle. This tool works extremely well. They have a very ingenious way of overcoming the chain whip!!!!!!!!!

Go and look at it here.......

They had a stand at the Expo and the tools are well made and some tools suspiciously look verrrry Park-like.

I enquired about the leetle tool and was given one for free!!!!!

The suppliers in RSA is ORE ENergy Product Solutions at +27 21 913 8985/6

Damn that's cunning. Does it work?

Yes...... not the optimal heavy workshop solution, but when you need it out in the bush it works!!!!!!!

Right, I'm buying. I've never broken a drive-side spoke, so I must be due, especially since I have those terrifyingly skinny dt-swiss revolutions on my mountain bike.

Contact them at the Capetown number I posted earlier, they also had a very nice catalogue available...... full of nice goodies, pics and instruction for use.
