Building First Road bike

Im about to start building my first road bike. I have all the componets

Thx to my fellow hubbers .

Any pitfalls that I should be aware of? Any special tools I may need?.

Any hints? Do I need a torque wrench?

Yes and a tool to fasten the BB Cups if you have external bearings.

External bearings? Its a FSA gossmer crank. cant see any bearings.

It should have external bearing cups, they screw into the BB shell. You then tighten them up with the BB wrench.

Ran into 2 small hiccups .

1 Derailer cables to short.

2 Cant get pin in chain

But I will sort out today

2 Quick link works a charm and makes it easier to remove chain for cleaning.
