DawieO Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 We did the back nine at Groenies, over Onion hill etc, and were then doing the front nine on the Fountains side. I was on the wooden bridge next to the fence when I felt my rear wheel rub against the stay, and a metallic jingling noise. I stopped and had a look, and the pic is the result! Completely unspectacular, but if I hadn't stopped, the gnarly rocky bit after the wooden walkway would've been interesting!

Gansbay Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Same issue, had mine welded and kept it as a spare. Scott replaced mine under warranty with no questions. Funny - the new one never broke again, even with bigger drops! What went next was the lower arm, snapped at front end, might have been chain damage?? Welding a good option, when they did mine they heated the whole arm in an oven before welding. Rode it for about 3 months before I put on the replacement to see if the weld would hold. Had no issues
