I was stunned to see how many people get scammed out of their bikes. Let me share some tips with you:

If you had to put yourself in the buyer shoes and you had to buy a (for example) R25K road bike advertised online:

1. You would ask a sh*t load of questions about the bike - model, frame type, groupset, tires, crashes etc.

2. You would find out why the seller is selling the bike. Is there maybe something wrong with it.

3. WOULD THERE BE A DISCOUNT IF PAID CASH?

4. CAN YOU COME AND LOOK AT THE BIKE?

If you are selling your bike online, and it smells of fish: WALK AWAY! A true buyer is someone that also fears that this is a scam!

Who buys there kids expensive secondhand bikes? And since when does Ahmed Saleem Mahama cycle?
