Bike Mob Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 How much are you paying simple as that... for 16g or 12g doesn't matter really.
Slave Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I still can't see how they can justify that price for such a little bit of CO2. Yeah, I know that one pays for the packaging as part of the price, but like they should recycle all those bomb casings and be more realistic about pricing.
Nialls101 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Soda streams are cheaper to refill... so why not get a R5 discount for bringing empty bombs back to your LBS.
davem Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I use a pump. Its free! R15 to save 2 min = R450 per hour! When I am good enough that 2 min counts. Then R15 probably won't matter.
Bike Mob Posted July 3, 2009 Author Posted July 3, 2009 I use my floor pump at home and am fastidious about pressures, it minimizes punctures. Then I just carry one bomb even on training rides. It's a must for races.
KaKa Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 with tubeless you can't do without bombs to seat ur tire
Christopher Brunsdon Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I still need to get a CO2 Pump - will rather pay a few bucks more and get a thread-less model, then at least I can use catering CO2 cartridges. EDIT: A quick google made me realise that I should ask the local air rifle shop for CO2 gas cartridges.cbrunsdon2009-07-03 08:05:21
