Hi,

Is there anybody that has been using a joint supplement such as USN's JointPlex for a long time? If so, would you be kind enough to share your experience?

The reason I ask is that I started using JointPlex when I developed an ITB problem about eight months ago. In addition I had my cleats adjusted to reduce stretch on my ITB, and started a stretching programme.

The ITB went away after 6 weeks, and I'm wondering if there is any benefit to continue using JointPlex.

Is there somebody that's been using it for 5 years or more that can report positively (or negatively) ?

I'm a social rider in group J (PPA), so another question I have is whether its necessary for a rider like me to be taking anything to protect my knees in the long term? I started cycling in 2007 and I'm now 37 years old. I like the sport and will probably ride for a long time.

Regards

Fakes

Fakes,

If your position is right there should be absolutely no need to worry about the knees and joints.  I've been riding around 10 000 km a year for over 4 decades without any knee or joint problems. Maybe I will have to look at starting  taking something for them in another decade or so.
