bleeding juicy 5's

Hey,

I know this is supposed to be easy but something is not working right.

 

I'm trying to bleed my avid juicy 5's but the lever doesnt spring back like it's supposed to. I assume it's because my  system still has air in it.

 

I'm also wondering about the lever adjust screw. That little Allen key screw on the lever is supposed to be in a certain position when bleeding the brake. Mine is turned halfway. is the screw supposed to be in or out? The instructions say that it needs to be NOT SO FAR OUT. what does that mean?

just bleed, bleed, bleed eventually it will come right...well thats what i did
