2 cross each spoke crosses 2 going the other direction.

3 cross you can obviously figure out.

radial straight from hub to rim.

If you want to really cool start twisting the spokes aroun each other.

The more times you cross the spokes, the more torsional strength it aught to have. The better the quality of your spokes, the lesser times they have to cross. Crossing the spokes is used where torsion is transferred from the hub to the rim (in that order), like with sprockets and disk brakes.
