Capri Wheeler Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Hi Hubbers The King David Linksfield cycling team is teaming up with the Diepsloot development team on a cycle to durban next week, Leaving on monday 5 October, returning Friday 9th. The aim of the cycle was to raise the profile of cycling in the diepsloot development team as well as in King David School and the money raised will be split and go to the Diepsloot team and King David sports fund. We have a fair amount of publicity including a slot on the radie (think its 702) and newspapers. We are hoping to get sponsored by various companies on either a donation basis or a set amount per km. ie is a certain rider rides 400km, then a sponsorship or R10/km will be made. Even anything as little as 5c/km will be appreciated.
