On the onetonner this weekend we got to the waterpoint at 100 odd k's and there was no water for us and i was out of water, not cool at all.Angry

nadda, i did the amashova with a buddy who started cycling 10 weeks ago, so went real slow and relaxed.  was then i realised who the heros are, the bunch at the back whose gotta cope with "sorry all finished" never catered for are the back of the bunch, we should do something about that like forcing organisers to keep stock for those guys

On behalf of Reeds I would like to sincerley apologise for this. We manned the point but were reliant on the organisers to supply water and refreshments. We eventually went and found a farm house and filled the water tanks. We have taken the matter up with the PPA as well.

Hi , I am a beginner cyclist as well , been cycling about 2 months , and this is my biggest reason for being afraid to enter races , I don't want to race competitively just want a fun day on the bike , finishing the race at my own pace and enjoying the day , and proving to myself I can finish the race , but mostly these kind of races don't cater for the slow/normal rider arriving in the last bunch.
