Glitch in the matrix

Took my bike in to LBS as the pads were rubbing against the rotor (amongst other problems)

Got it back, and it was better but it started acting up again to the extent that some in the dark emergency fixing had to be done in the dark last night.

Had a good look at the rear caliper this afternoon, and found that the one 'foot' of the metal springy/clamp thingy fitting in between the pads was bent inwards and rubbing against the rotor (Juicy 7 brakes). This caused the pads to sit at an angle inside the caliper, rubbing against the rotor.

Fortunately we know that no LBS can do any wrong, meaning that if this was the original problem they sure would have picked it up when servicing the brakes, nor that it could have been them who caused this while servicing the brakes....

Guess I'll just have to keep the bike away from the bike shops until such time as the matrix administrators give notice that the glitch has been fixed Smile

Hope none of you were affected by this same random glitch....!
