Help needed on what mountain bike is best

I bought a Schwinn  moab 2 for R2500 last year(and had very low milage on).Royal dont get too caught up with a brand of a bike but try get decent "equipment" gears, brakes etc.Most of the manufactures make a frame and add "equipment from 1 of 2 or 3 three manufactures. Now with that in mind I still dont know if I'v helped you....

For R3000 you should be able to pick up a good HT with  V brakes, deore or even LX components and good shock 2nd hand.
