deep section wheels

Hi guys just needed to ask some advice from more experienced cyclists, i have only been in the sport a year or so, so limited knowledge.

 

Im looking at buying deep sections but have not got a massive budget was looking at the american classics 58 clincher? Will be using mostly for olympic distnace triathlons and couple of road cycling races.

 

and what are the disadvantages of buying second hand?
