How shold I maintain my MTB after a particularly muddy ride?

Can i use a high pressure hose?

Are there areas i should stay away from with the hose pipe?

What should i use to degrease/clean the chain?

What lube shold i use?

Can i leave the bike out in the sun to dry?

How shold I maintain my MTB after a particularly muddy ride? buy a set of either park tool or pedro brushes.

Can i use a high pressure hose? yes you can.

Are there areas i should stay away from with the hose pipe? hubs and bb to be safe. although some hubbers says this isn't necessary.

What should i use to degrease/clean the chain? i prefer a chain cleaner with degreaser.

What lube shold i use? not going there. whatever you normally use.

Can i leave the bike out in the sun to dry? yes' date=' but keep an eye on it. you don't want it to go to moz like intern's did.

What lube shold i use? Ask LBS. Some types are better for certain riding conditions

Can i leave the bike out in the sun to dry? It's better to dry it with a towel or something. Especially the chain.

After all of this, relube the chain and all the pivot points(rd, fd etc.)

Make sure you keep oil/lube away from the disk brake pads.

I like to also ride the bike for about 5mins. This ensures that the lube reaches all the contact points and further dries the bike.
