Greetings.

Im a mild freerider / rocky downhiller from the USA.

Living here now for almost a year.

I brought my Iron Horse 7p5 with me but in the north coast of natal all its doing is getting rusty.

I am looking to source a toy.

Something used I can toss on some small dirt jumps / ride around the flat trails.

Hard tail preferred (like a p2) but short travel rear sus is ok as well.

Frame bust have low seat tube like an urban / dj bike.

What should I be looking for used wise here?

Welcome! Giant STP and GT chucker are pretty common dirt jumpers here. Check on www.gumtree.co.za and around the hub.

Ive got a singlespeed black/green STP with some basic spec stuff on it, but the frame is perfect for urban riding and I have ridden lots of trails with it. Just pop the seat up and its surprisingly easy to pedal around. I got it second hand for around R4k, and spent another R1k on the singlespeed kit and some fat tyres.
