Babbas Awesome

Did the Babbas ride yesterday after a 2 year break. What a race, great course and ever better organisation. Everything was just fantastic.

 

I must say it did confuse me. I paid R100 for the 35KM. For that I get a great event, well organised and even a t-shirt. Most other races are almost double that and you get nothing, bad courses and even worse organisation. I think a lot of other organisers need to go get some training from these ppl.

 

I will definatley be back.

I agree with you Charlie, I did the 70 yesterday. The guys at the waterpoint were great, the hospitality awesome and the competition friendly. Will definitely be back next month.

I did 3:40 for the 70 which is my best yet, but only good enough for 86th out of 95 finishers.

I did 1:57 for the 35KM. For me that is awesome. I loved the course, its really fast and challenging.

That's awesome charlie, my last 40km i did 2:08, but i think riding the longer races is upping my endurance, I managed to do my first lap in about 1:30 on Sunday.
