Christie Posted April 9, 2010 Share How cool is this!http://velonews.competitor.com/2010/04/news/usa-cycling-relaxes-tt-standards-for-all-racers_111171 USA cycling decided not to implement new draconian UCI TT bike regulations for all age groups. Basicaly, a bike that was legal in 2009 will be legal in 2010, except in races where the pro's participate, like TOC etc. Descision was made to be more tolerant to riders who compete in women, junior & masters cats. Love these comments: "We?re not going to be breaking out the calipers and measuring 3:1 aspect ratios with a fine-toothed comb down to a half-a-millimeter" and "We?re caught in a bind where we?ve got a large membership that in the last couple years may have spent a lot of money on equipment, only to find that it was good last year and suddenly not" Damn, now that is a cycling administrator that has the best interest of the riders at heart. Well done
