Garmin and Polar

Hey guys and gals

 

I have a Garmin HR monitor but the treadmill and bikes at Planet Fitness seem to take Polar equipment with Polar branding etc.

 

I know I could just go to the gym to try it, but will my Garmin belt work on the Polar-based equipment?
