Trans Baviaans entry

[Flying Ibis]

Hi, my name is Anton. I am using Chris' (Flying Ibis) hub connections to hopefully join up with an existing Trans Baviaans team.

Entries closed earlier than expected & my partner, Flying Ibis, had to pull out for personal reasons. I have done way to much training not to participate in this race & even dropped the big bucks for a sweet dual sus bike.

Personal specs:

* I am 50 years old

* I live in Hankey (close to BKloof) & have a company in PE. I often ride home (65kms) as my weekly training

* Over weekends I've been training in the BKloof & surrounding mtn ranges

* I am new to mtb'ing & totally hooked!!

* I have run 10 comrades - so am not too bad with endurance

* I weigh 78kgs (thought I would just put that out there)

* I am easy going with a great sense of humour & don't get grumpy when the going gets tough!

 

I'm more than happy to fit into an existing teams race plan i.e. pace, rest stops, food plan etc. & follow the team leader.
