db01 Posted September 18, 2010 Share Hi Tech-Hubbers, Does anyone have the tools and expertise to straighten bent saddle rails? Is this even the right forum to post this question? I can list 100 reasons why it would not be a good idea, but want to try it nevertheless. The specific model in question is a brand new Specialized Phenom SL which took a plunge on its second ride. Thanks,DB
stewie911 Posted September 18, 2010 Share Don't think it is advisable. I broke one of my rails and wanted to fix it, but was told to rather not do it. I think it can be replaced by some people, but would also like to know who can do it. btw, this is the right forum

GuyP Posted September 18, 2010 Share Unless they are steel rails (solid), it's not a good idea even trying to save it.
