L.T.G Posted September 25, 2010 Share Hubbers! I've got myself a 705 ....I want to save Routes that I do...can Ia) save a route , and name it , on the unit? (HOW??????) so as to follow it on future ridesb)transfer these routes to my pc and save them there too? all MTB, no road riding at all! normally I'm fine with all things gadgety related, and learn quickly!but, I'm defeated!! can't figure out what to do! please help or point out an already posted topic on this issue... JohannSnyman Posted September 25, 2010 Share Hi! Go To: Training>Courses and then <Create New> on the 705.Select a route that you have done, give it a name etc. and it will be in the courses list. No way to edit the course, it will be exactly the way it was recorded. I download to Mapsource, then I edit the route, save as GPX, use www.gpsies.com to convert to .crs file, copy to the courses folder on the 705, and it will be available in the courses menu.
