Polar CS500cad or CS600

Hi Hubbers,

 

I'm looking at upgrading from my CS200cad, to the Polar CS500 or CS600, both with Power.

 

Can anybody tell me about their experience with the CS500 - seems to be a new product from Polar.

Garmin Edge 500. All the features and more Swear by that thing

At almost half the price to the Edge 500 the cs500 is reasonable, my only gripe with it is that it does not link to polar 5 training software, only to polar.com therefore need to be connected to the internet to download or view you training. Can’t customize the viewing screen, but you can set it to automatically scroll through the different screen modes while riding.

Mr Kariem should be able to give you some good feedback ... he uses the CS600.

Polar and ibike seem to be the most affordable power options, but I've seen a number of negative comments on their performance and accuracy.

Unfortunately anything better is going to cost at least 3 or 4 times more.!
