So Iron is good for the endurance athlete. Read an article about increasing the absorption of iron in a magazine, but can't remember where.

 

Here are some tips, as we may inhibit it with some food choices: My link

 

Some main points: Tea and coffee reduce uptake of iron, while vitamin C increase uptake.

 

So if you're worried then don't drink tea and coffee with meals and add some lemon to your tea to cancel the effects that tea has on iron absorption.
