Sdg Saddle and post

Looking for a light weight but comfortable saddle and was checking out the SDG I beam seatpost.

Is anyone using them or is there other light weight components?

I am using the Gobi XM wing Flex at the moment and find that pretty comfy but wanna lose a couple grams where ever I can on the new ride.

The SDG saddles are not light at all. They are really comfy for epic rides but overkill for short XC races. And with the I-beam system you are stuck with choice.

What would you suggest, seatpost and saddle seatup?

I would go for reliability rather then weight and use Ritchey WCS or PRO PLT post with a Specialized saddle. If you have to go for weight then look at KCNC but they have a 85kg weight limit on MTBs.

I will be fine on the weight limit

Do you know off hand what they go for?

Sorry not off hand. But PRO should be the cheapest of the lot.
