2003 frame is old. Price depends on age of the groupset and the wheels.

If groupset and wheels are standard I would estimate that R5-6k would be a fair price.

There is a guy here on the hub "mongoose" selling a 2004 TCR for R12k but it has better wheels and Ultegra 6700.

Hope this helps

Generally the bike is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. <_<

But seriously with such scant info, who would be willing to go out on a limb?

Start with its condition and possibly year. Pic?

Anything else about the bike which will assist in the determination? Extras?

what wheels does it have?

how much wear and tear??

I would say R5-6k is a bit steep as this bike is 7 years old,

Shimano 105 is three generations old,

If the bike has been unused for a very long time (ie low mileage), then maybe, other wise i would think about R3000 max.

the heading of the add says, its a 2003 model, the frame is black with yellow around giant detailing, if that helps? wheels are xero? condition of the frame is really good, no scratches or dents, comes as it is, may need new tyres soon, how much do they go for? Cluster and cables and gel handle bar tape recently replaced! and im afraid thats about all i know? i just want an idea what i should be spending on this bike?

sora - bottom of the range

tiagra - bit better

105 - good

ultegra - good, lighter

ultegra sl - good, ugly, even lighter

dura ace - good even lighter

di2 - who knows, electronic

old 105 will be 9 (or 8? check) while the new ones are 10 speed
