Road Frame

So, i am in the postion of upgrading my road bike.

 

enjoyed my training for the 94.7, suffered at 94.7, but finished. so this feeling of just riding is so strong in me, that i figured may be i should upgrade my road frame.

 

I am currently riding a GT ZR3.0 (still has the triple triangle design) and its got a Tiagra groupset. not intending to change that anytime soon, as it worked fine. but just to treat myself, i want to upgrade the frame.

 

I need some advice before i buy a frame (second hand);

Budget 3-4k

aluminium or carbon

geometry etc

In that price range why not look at selling the whole bike, and puttin the frame money you would have spent on top and buy in a new price range.

 

You may get more value for money, maybe a 105 10sp group and a hybrid frame?
