Servicing that BB/Crankset

Hey all,

 

Cleaning the bike this evening - started thinking about maintenance etc. - and then had a thought about my crankset/BB...

 

I'm running a 2007 XT Hollowtech crankset, and have never had it serviced?

 

What's the story - annually/depends on km's or hours/when the blades are replaced?

 

Any thoughts?

Good question! I have recently replaced my cheap ass BB with a Deore external BB and crank. Wish I could have helped you out! Sorry, think there is some experts who would share the expertise!

Get bearings from Rush Sports

Bearings

and whack them in using the instructions that Dirt-rider provided

Thanks DB - so a case of not doing anything until you notice a problem? Cool - all still running smoothly...
