Entry level dual suspension

Hi All.

i have two Family members that want to get bikes, must be dual suspension. where is the best place for price and what would you suggest for about R9k per bike? or a little more.... must also be new.

New i doubt you will find anything decent under R10000.00 except those cheap PnP/Makro type Raleigh's. Buycycle have a Commencal DS bike for under R12000.00 its a 2009 bike with decent components

Quite a few options for under 10k.

Westdene cycles in JHB had at least 3 decent bikes for around that mark

For a dual suspension that is a very good price.

try silverback Slider 2011, my lbs said it should be around R10k. decent specs.

You have to go to Solomons in Woodmead or Pretoria and haggle the price and I am sure that you will get damn good pricing on 2 Treks 2009 models.
