Hi Hubbers,

 

I am in desperate need of a specialist titanium welder who can weld a crack in my Titanium MTB frame, does anyone out there have any contacts or clue as to whom I might contact to do the work. I am based in Cape Town but happy to send my bike anywhere for the right treatment. Many thanks

I cant promise anything, but one of my customers works exclusively with titanium - They weld parts and do all sorts of fabrication with it, he is comin in tomorrow to collect parts that we waterjet cut for them. I can speak to him for you.

If you haven't managed to find anybody yet, try Mark of MCR Welding on 021 510 0933. They are in Carlisle Street in Paarden Eiland. He has repaired both titanium and aluminium bikes. If you found anybody else, let me know.
