WOW!!! So 70.3 I M South Africa has come and gone. What a day it was. I knew the Weather predicted before hand was bad but on race day never thought it could be that bad wind wind and more wind with lots of rain.

To start off the race we had to endure 14 degree water(so cold could hardly get my feet into my cycling shoes in T1).

Then on the bike you get and you think wow this is not that bad because you leave East London with a nice downhil but that just fooled me(knowing the coarse as it was my second 70.3) and then we just climed for the next 40 odd km's into a very strong wind and very wet conditions. Then coming back i didn't know if it was fun or just plain madness with the speeds we were reaching and the roads so wet and often strong cross winds however i made it back to East London safely.

And then to attemp that run, i personally think the organisers were a bit mean this year with that run coarse. Bunkers Hill was not my friend as it just seemed to go on for ever. I managed to finish 7 or so minutes quicker than last year in a time of 5 hours 52 minutes

How did the rest of you guys and girls go
