I was wondering if any one could give me an indication on the value of a bike.

 

At my lbs I can get the following spec bike and was wondering if its such good value for money as I think. i.e. should I buy it or not. I've already settled on the spec, Its now just a case of what should that spec cost.

 

2010 Giant XTC (@ 12.5 kg)

Rock Shox Reba air fork with remote lockout

S-CX2 Wheels (Tubeless conversion done with Maxis Crossmark tires)

Full SLX 10sp (FD, RD, Crank, Shifters, etc) - even if it wasn't, I'm upgrading it.

 

So what ya think. It's obviously brand new.

 

After I get some feedback and if anyone is interested I'll divulge the actual price.

Cajees are currently selling the 29er version of that bike for R13,800 with a FOX RL32 instead of the Reba....oh and an XT read derailleur.
