Calf bruise

I seem to have bruised my calf - currently do longer rides 30km + on the weekends and 3 times in the week in gym spinning , fitness flyer and the stepping, machine - seem to have done myself an injury....

any ideas or suggestions on whyat it is - how bad it is and can I still ride not in much pain it is a tad tender?

I had exactly the same thing.

Doc said I must have bumped myself while training and damaged a vein causing bleeding under the skin.

Wasn't serious aparently.

Went away after a week or 2.

Prescribed a gel to rub on, forget the name.
