  1. Ridden tickrs since 2018. Got problems with 2 of them - erratic readings etc. Support was great and they replaced both without any fuss. I now just rinse the unit and the strap after rides. Especially on the trainer. Been smooth sailing so far.
  2. You’re always going to be eyeballing to some extent. But the problem is eyeballing your horizontal bars with a narrow fork or perpendicular wheel. I take the wheel out, put the fork flush up against an edge of some sort (coffee table in my case) and then you’ve got a nice long horizontal edge to line your bars up with.
