  1. Hey guys. Check out this website: www.stageraces.com It has all of the Mountain Bike stage races as well as Trail Running stage races in South Africa and most of the big ones from around the world. It is amazing how many awesome events there are. Over 200 this year!
  2. Well, it's only 3 hours of sports pass required. If the OH likes wine tasting, bring him along.
  3. Event Name: NavChallenge Presented By Capestorm When: 19 October 2013 Where: Val du Charron Wine/Welvanpas Trails, Wellington, Western Cape Category: MTB This is one of the most loved events in the Western Cape. Mountain Bikers or trail runners have 3 hours to find 25 checkpoints stashed in and around Welvanpas trails, Wellington. There are easy options for novices and more challenging options for experienced athletes. Don't be put off by the navigation aspect - there are lots of easier checkpoints for the beginners and unfit. Each event includes a special stage. Past examples include: abseiling, zip lines, paintball target shooting, short kayak, obstacle course, etc We have lots of prizes from Capestorm, Civvio, Glider Eyewear, etc. Come and support a good cause, "Reach for a Dream". Entries are R220 per person and we recommend 2-man teams. Go to Event Page

  6. On some of those long distance rides, like Trans Baviaans, the bigger blade comes in handy for more than 120km's. The smaller one is essential too on then climbs and then of course you do need that middle balde from time to time. So why not just stick with 3 blades upfront? Is there any disadvantage besides a few extra grams?
