  2. I found this http://www.linx.co.za/trails/lists/bikelist.html#Bela-Bela whilst looking for some riding this coming week in the Bela Bela area.
  3. Good day, I am looking for some advice on how to remove TAR from the frame of my bike (ALLU) I have tried a few solvents with "no success whatsoever" Products I have tried to date 1. Tar and Bug remover 2. Tar remover 3. WD-40 Using the recommended advice on these products and what i have read on the internet all have failed. The Tar was picked up this weekend at Suikerbosrand on a ride Sunday. It is very fine and spread all over the frame also very hard and not at all "tacky". I am considering trying other substance like Kerosene, Diesel etc on small areas but am somewhat concerned about the paint job and decals. So any advice from people who have had a similar issue and have solved this problem would be greatly appreciated Regards
  4. Good day I have managed to find the route profile for 2015 94.7 MTB 55km ride this weekend, however I was wondering what the total accent is over the 55km. Does anyone have an idea?
  5. Good afternoon, I am familiar with the two main timing organizations in (Racetec and championchip) for most events within RSA. I have just taken up MTB riding recently and a little at a loss to follow how the timing works within this space. I see many more timing organizations SS-Timing, Bikeabout, Great Time, Multi-sport, Racetec, Red Robot timing, Live time to mention but a few My question/s is really : a simple one 1. What timing chip/s if any covers most races. Am I required to purchase all these chips to do MTB and access each portal to get a record of my rides? 2. SASeeding – seem to sell a life time board chip Is this useable at all events or is this another chip – quite confusing Hope you can clarify the above for me Regards
  6. Good day, I have misplaced my CD for the above software. It seems this is pretty old and out dated so I cannot get another CD from any store in SA It seems polar only have a 30 Day trial version available for downloading. Does an hubber have an original CD i could copy/loan for a day. or an ISO I could download of the original CD. Much appreciated and a free coffee Regards

  8. Hi all, I wonder if you can assist me with these questions. I am new to MTB and have 2 questions about tubeless wheelsets 1. What is the advantage if any to tubless wheels? 2. I have heard that you can convert a tube wheelset to tubless, is this a good or bad idea . Thanks in advance
