I snapped my chain off the line in my first run. (My legs are just way too strong). In my 2nd run I was desperate to at least post a time so I go all paranoid about crashing and went way too slow. Anyways. no big crashes and 2 days of downhill fun. what more can you ask for. To all the guys that didn't come. You really missed out. The track was fast and flowy with loads of features to keep you interested. I doubt that their wil be another oportunity to shuttle that track again this year. 73 people came out and had fun. A huge thanks to Chris and everyone concerned. The next race is at Sir Lowrys pass on the 26th and 27th of June. There are no huge road gaps or massive doubles to contend with. The track is fast and flowy with some really cool features like a step up and a hip jump or 2 to keep things interesting. I would have to say Sir Lowrys is probably my favorite track. If you aren't in to the race aspect of the whole thing just do the practice day. Quite a few people do and that's just fine. The track is on private land so this will more than likely be your only opportunity to legally ride this track all year. So come on guys. Come do the rest of the provincial races. Trust me. you will be hooked, amped, stoked and all those other words that mean happy.

Hey Guys. Theres a DH race at Jonkershoek on the 29th Dh provincial at Jonkershoek Practice on Saturday from 10am till 4pm Practice on Sunday from 8 till 9:30am Racing from 10am R 200 for the event BE THERE!!!

Greg won Sea Otter. It's not really a measure of anything but when he last won sea otter he also won the world cup overall I rode the tokai race track yesterday. Loads of fun and the chages Have made quite a difference. I hope all of you are gonna do the race. I promise you. You will NOT get another oppertunity to shuttle Tokai again any time soon.

Vince, Christo and myself did some track maintenance this morning in Tokai on the race track. Why is it that the only 3 people doing track maintenance are 2 40 somthings and a dude in his late 30's? Anyways. We sorted out the berm into the lower rock garden on downhill 2 And one lower down so people don't fly off the track and land on the road There's also a jump in to the quarry and a step up out of it Gonna be sick. The race is gonna be such fun. Come on guys. Make sure you race. After the race I'm gonna post up any build and maintenance days well in advance So hopefully we get more guys pulling in and helping The cool thing about doing the work is that you get to make the track suit you.

Using the old bit. Not one that has the drop off the road. Hey here's a challenge. Dirt mag has a test track called the 1.04. Our 1.04 goes from the landing of the road gap down through downhill 2 (old version) and ends at the road. If you can do a 1.04 you are *** fast.
