  1. Sheesh Eldron...have you been attending your psyche lessons? I have to say spot on!
  2. Nope we're almost at Slimslab now
  3. Thanks guys They say eat Special K to drop a dress size...nonsense. Get your ass on a bicycle 5-6 days a week and sweat buckets. That'll do it. See ya at Kyalami...bwaaahaaaaa
  4. Okay so I'm not exactly Yolanda Speedy but I put in some good training day in and day out. I'm improving consistently and guess that what training is all about. I do however have to wonder at the pansies who come to Kyalami and sit on my ass. Okay so I have to confess to admiring the shape of my calves now and then as I catch a glance in the mirror but seriously if you want to get strong boys you'll have to stop sitting on my ass and actually do some training. Signed off, Catch me if you can Kitkat
  5. Aaah tx for that Agteros. Yup yup Yang...as my mate Eldron says "one man on a bicycle is a ride, 2 is a race" kitkat2010-05-26 13:20:01
  6. So much of funny... I've decided to write an article on the subject "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus; the gender differences as demonstrated by life on a bicycle" Think I'll send it to one of the mags...I'm about half way through. And then I'll skip the country kitkat2010-05-26 13:14:22
  7. Perhaps it not prudent for me to mention this on a largely male dominated HUB but I have to say boys I learnt the first rule about bike club this weekend. No, not don't talk about bike club, what do you think we're here for but the first rule of bike club is...(drumroll)... NEVER EVER believe a boy (especially one with legs like Rob Roy) when he says he's going to take it easy and offers for you to ride with him. I know you don?t mean to but you can?t help it. Your brains are overtaken by instinct and you cannot be held accountable for your actions. This I understand. All I'm asking for is think about this BEFORE the ride... ...okay I'm outta here. I fear for my life
  8. Haha... So true! Okay okay off to spend QT with Dale
  9. Tx Danger Dassie! Am getting plenty out...still in love with my 'Dale Yup Kev and Donna are great!
  10. The SCOTT for sure! Love them...enjoy the ride!
  11. Tx Gummibear Serviced it originally at Westrand (the only 'dale authorised store I know) then went to Cycle fusion who were pretty good with spares prices and now for convenience have taken it to Solomon's. Oh yes also had to replace the headset! That def added to the R5k. But think am due (my poor baby has certainly done well for so long) for an upgrade. BTW was XTR casette. Am DEF going to do one of Johan Bormann's workshops! Nice tip on the freelancers Kosmonooit
  12. Okay it's a Cannondale dual suspension...not a Lefty. R5 was for new cassette and chain too. Unfortunately have thrown away the job card. Apparently Cannondales are extremely difficult and costly to service? The front shock cannot be touched by anyone other than authorised dealers of which there is only one in Gauteng. The bike is 7 yrs old now so maybe time for an upgrade.
  13. Besides I'm a girl...we're supposed to ride boys!
  14. Jewish actually...same thing just bigger guilt issues
