    Yup there was an indecent, more than 50% of cycles just bolts through and its a accident bond to happen. My next option is to install a Speed bump for the cyclist

    I commute from La paloma to town this daily, If you got good lights you fine. Just watch out at the new cycle path at La paloma the cars do not look out for bikes here. I tried to spray warning on the road surface at the intersection but cyclist ignore it. Yesterday i witnessed a car missed a cyclist by cms. Cyclist is to blame as there are signs up " Cyclist give way to cars"

    Haha, You did well! My wife to be also rides but we are opting for the shooter option this time around. We saving the missions of taking our bikes over for a touring trip in Portugal late August.

    Thanks Mauritius. We normally very active bike touring when on holiday so gona take this one chilled for a change if we can haha, so not bike.

    Im getting married next weekend and then honeymoon so I will be standing still for a week and half. But when I am back I will klap the mileage as there will be no money for fuel or bus fare.

    My Commute is flat however some days very "hilly" Big bay to Cape town +- 90m over 21km Solid SE blowing Big bay - Cape town +-1001m over 21km

    Good Question! Cyclist have right of way as there is a sign up but 9 out of 10 the cars just turn left in front of cyclist. So you have to ride your bicycle like no one can see you ever in this country.

    Good point Slow down completely and be very careful. I live in one of those complex and Saw this coming. Hope the cycles is alright. The drivers just look right and then turn Left not seeing cycles coming from Big bay toward Melkbos.

    Glad you fine and got your Bike and bag back. Speedy recovery. Looks like we have to get funds together and pay the homeless people to protect us on that stretch. For now I will carry on taking the freeway in and out of town.
