    +1 on the wind. I was in Hout Bay at that time and decided not to go up Chappies because of the wind. Heading back along Victoria road a bit later I almost came to a stop on the downhill sections!

    The tell the owners about the problem. If you don't tell them then their mechanics will continue doing poor work and other people / bikes will suffer.
