  1. Had the same experience with Paypal. (Actually I am glad the sale did not go through. The price for one would have been close to 5 G's. Now that we are buying 2, the costs comes down to around R3700 / watch. What a bargain!!)
  2. OK, worked it out - it comes to about R3850 per watch (only if we take 2 or more) Not too shabby... See the link: http://www.bikeinn.com/bike/polar-rs800cx-pro-training-edition-premium/11094/p
  3. The shipping will take 2-3working days. So we could have it by the end of the week!!!! AND Polar has a 2 year international guarantee. I bought my RS800SD like this and had no problems fixing it here in SA. Polars back up service is the very best I have experienced in this country - similar to Leatherman.
  4. Ok, how’s this for a special: The Polar RS800CX Pro (this includes all the bike pods, the S3 running pod and the GPS - about 6 G's local price) At Bike in they are approx R3920 BUT if we take two (2) the price comes down to about R2940 / set! With DHL it is R6400 for the two (R3200/watch!) Is there someone that wants in on this? I definitely am going to buy myself one, but if I find one more person that wants in, we can save close to a grand each! (Remember that we still need to pay duties this side, so the final price will be around R7200 for the two watches, approx. R3600 per watch. WHO IS IN WITH ME? (I live in Heidelberg Gauteng, it will be a plus if you also live in Gauteng)
  5. You got that right! I am upgrading from the RS800sd (running) to the cx because I do quite a bit of "multy" sports. Can’t wait to get it… (struggling a bit with Paypal though)
  6. Exactly what I am buying.... Did you have to pay any import duties / tax on it?
  7. Last 2 times that I received (electronic) goods from overseas, I did not pay any extra amount. I am talking under correction, but thinks that there are no duties on electronics.
  8. With Paypal you pay 3.9% of the total amount. A reasonable price for "peace of mind" You can dispute a transaction if you dont receive your goods or if it is defective. This keeps the "seller" very responsible. I have never had any problems when buying using Paypal.
  9. Would you guys reckon that I can safely use my cc with them?
  10. They also want me to do the same. (use credit card) I prefer paypal because it is much safer. They claim that they are Paypal enabled, but fail to complete the transaction. With the massive online fraud nowadays, I am very careful to use my credit card online.

  12. Sis man! I have an iPod, now I dont like it any more.... Heheh
  13. Sadly we are dealing with the human factor here. Many things can look great "in theory" but when the human factor is added it fails. - Communism is a good example. So in this case, (this country) the human factor has to be dealt with! Propper punishment for each crime. If one man take the "democratic right" to live of another.... then his "democratic right" to live should be taken from him as well! This will sommer sort out the over crouded prisons as well...
